The design of the new site is not ready yet, it's amazing how difficult it is to come up with something that is both visually pleasing and functional...

Anyway, we just celebrated another Halloween and it's been a success, judging by the number of little kids who would not come near me because they were so affraid. This year I decided to be a horny devil. Litterally.

So much for new year resolutions... Well at least I kept drawing almost daily and I managed to control what I eat and drink. In fact, I lost enough weight since last Christmas that people actually notice it, which feels great.

Actually, I started working on a major update of this web site, which should make it easier for me to update it on a more regular basis. In the meantime, here is a picture that was taken last Saturday at the girls' performance with the Miya Friends Dance Factory.

So far so good on my new year's resolutions! I have been drawing almost daily with the intention of eventually turning Loïc's story of "Kalag Le Rouge" into a graphic novel, I try not to eat or drink too much, and for this third update of the year, I am offering a new travelogue describing a trip to Kyoto that we took in October last year.

I uploaded a series of pictures that we took at the end of the year, around Christmas and the new year. As you can see, I am decided to update our web site more regularly in 2008!

Happy New Year 2008!

A number of people pointed out that I had not updated this web site for almost two years, so I figured that it was time to start updating it more regularly. I am only adding the nengajo museum section today, but I am preparing to upload recent pictures soon so please check again in a week or two...

I had to take a day off from work today because I was quite sick so I just rested and put a few things in order at home. Somehow, I managed to finish my Australia Travel Story so here it is finally, the longest travel story about our longest vacation so far!

Happy birthday Chiyo! It's hard to believe that six years have passed since our baby was born in Montreal... She's a big girl now and is having a birthday party upstairs with Chloé, Ryu, and a couple of friends. Yumi is out shopping with her parents and I have about one hour to myself. This is the perfect opportunity to post a few pictures taken earlier today.

First update this year! I started working on my new travelogue as soon as I got back from Australia but I have so many pictures to process that I just have not had enough time to get everything ready yet. Only a few more pictures to go so I should be able to post another update soon.

Meanwhile, it was snowing in Tokyo yesterday morning. Here is a picture that I took on my way to work using my cell phone. This is great, especially since we're moving into a new house next Monday. More details about that later...
