The next day, we went on a guided tour of the rainforest. Among other things, we went on a cruise on the Daintree river where we saw crocodiles and hundreds of fruit bats in the trees, and also a jungle walk where we got quite close to some lizards and learned about some of the interesting, dangerous, beautiful and nasty plants that you can meet in the Australian rainforest. On the way there, we stopped to admire the coastline at Rex Lookout.
