Tasmanian Devil Featherdale Wildlife Park, Australia January 1, 2006

It was so hot that all the birds in the park kept their mouths open, probably to ventilate I suppose. The staff were doing everything they could to keep the animals cool, spraying them with water and moving them to shaded areas. This poor little Tasmanian devil probably wished he had never left his home island.
