Streets of Gion Gion District, Kyoto, Japan October 7, 2007 Nikon D40X

We finally made it down to Gion. Our original goal was to have a break in a shop which is famous for its shiruko, but there were so many people just waiting to get in that we decided to have coffee at a nearby Starbucks instead, after walking through the old streets of Kyoto's most famous geisha district.

After this, we returned to our hotel and unfortunately for him, Ryu missed a nice dinner at a nearby Italian restaurant because his fever had gone up again...
