Chloé and mama Hawaii June 1998

I don't remember the name of the place where I took this picture but we decided to drive up north one day to see this lookout point. We drove through Waimea on the way back.

Around that time we also visited Sachiko and Lloyd Nakano, who kindly helped us make a few reservations and invited us to their house for a barbecue. We often think about them and their lovely children Maika and Shin, especially when it's cold outside and we wish we were back in Hawaii!
