French Knots As Compliance

The bottom of the stems of large flowers on both sides of the cushion marriage, French knots, follow the curve of the tycoon. When I finished the entire flower, I could see what a variety of these rows of French knots! Blocks of different color texture are filling unique and interesting for the large flower. I love it!

When I started to embroider again, I was not sure about the best way to make French knots. I still can not get them as consistent as I would like, but I will be better. Phillipa kindly taught in her studio in Burford, which I think is the best, most foolproof way to make French knots. In a large flower on the right side of the piece, the French knots are used to fill the squares and the lattice work design. Here Phillipa has created a 4 x 4 network nodes. It looks a bit ‘like a carpet of small samples. It ‘s time for a different quality or randomness acorns mogul wrong.
